FEN's Initiative to Develop a Model Ordinance for Towns and
Townships to adopt to manage and control pesticide use.

FEN is preparing a model ordinance that citizens in towns and townships can introduce to their town government to manage and limit the use of pesticides. The ordinance will include a menu of sections to it that the citizens can choose from add eliminate from the ordinance to increase controls or limit them. It will also include a mechanism for obtaining variances to the ordinance by certain users by applying to an Environmental Committee in each town which will be established under the ordinance.
